About the ACE Program

The ACE program was created in November of 2006 with funding from Service Canada, with a primary focus on supporting individuals living with mental illness or addiction, who were trying to obtain competitive employment in the community. The ACE program does so by employing a number of services designed to give our clients the knowledge and confidence they need to find a job in the current market, while providing the support they need to see the employment process through.

ACE is actively supported by Employment Ontario.

The ACE program its partner, ABEL Enterprises, are both part of The Haldimand Norfolk Work Group of Simcoe (HNWGS). Both ACE and ABEL are considered “best practice” in mental health employment supports.
